I was born and raised in Michigan (USA), which passed medical cannabis regulations in 2008. This is where my cannabis industry journey began and in 2010 and 2011, I cultivated and harvested my first legal cannabis plants. I then worked with dispensaries in my area to help provide cannabis flowers to local patients.

In 2017, I moved to Lisbon, Portugal to get my MBA. This was after 5+ years working  in the financial industry in Nashville, Tennessee.​​ It was here in Portugal in 2018 where I entered the European cannabis industry and started my professional career in cannabis with Tilray. ​Throughout my 3+ years with Tilray I wore two hats, Country Manager of Portugal and Spain & European Alliance Manager.

As Country Manager, we received marketing authorization for the FIRST cannabis dried flower in Portugal. This was one of the greatest accomplishments of my life, and I will never forget the feeling of knowing the Portuguese patients now had access to cannabis in the pharmacy. As European Alliance Manager, I successfully completed some of the largest medical cannabis exports in Europe to date, and had the opportunity to work with partners in Germany, Israel, Spain, Malta, and the UK.
